The Yukon Bar 20kg is a premium Olympic barbell crafted for mixed-use performance, making it ideal for both home gyms and commercial training environments. Designed to handle everything from foundational strength work to explosive Olympic-style lifts, it delivers the versatility serious lifters demand.
This bar features a 28.5mm shaft diameter and is equipped with a composite bushing system that ensures smooth, consistent sleeve rotation during high-rep training and repeated drops. Its medium-depth, volcano-style knurling provides a secure grip without being overly aggressive, while the absence of a centre knurl ensures comfort during front-loaded movements. Dual knurl markings (IPF and IWF) support multiple grip widths for athletes training across different lifting styles.
Constructed from high-strength steel, the shaft is finished in hard chrome or Cerakote, while the sleeves are coated in hard chrome or ArmourCoat, offering superior corrosion resistance and a clean, professional look.
ArmourCoat is a premium, urethane-acrylic polymer coating engineered for extreme durability and long-lasting protection. Applied through a precision spray process and cured at room temperature, this finish forms a tough, chip-resistant outer shell that shields the barbell from rust, abrasion, and wear — even under heavy daily use. Unlike traditional paint or powder coat, ArmourCoat bonds at a molecular level to create a flexible yet impact-resistant surface that won't crack or peel over time.
With a 1,500 lb static rating, 190,000 PSI tensile strength, medium whip, and a 1% precision tolerance, the Yukon Bar 20kg delivers consistent, long-lasting performance in any training setting.

I bought this barbell in the black Cerakote finish as my other barbell ( Amstaff Yellowstone) is also black Cerakote and I love the finish. The Cerakote is smoother and softer (weird but it does feel softer) against the skin, especially when loaded super heavy for deadlifts and coming up along your quads.
The knurling appears quite tame (especially in comparison to the mountain knurling on the Yellowstone bar) however it is surprisingly grippy and despite sweating during intense workouts I have never had my grip slip with this bar.
The sleeves rotate smoothly with almost no play side to side. The ribbed sleeves help keep the rubber coated collars from slipping outwards on the sleeves during repeated drops.
While this is personal preference, I do wish this bar had center knurling too. While I generally use my Yellowstone bar for squats as it is a stiffer bar, I do lunge and bulgarian split squats with this bar.
I can feel the bar diameter difference between the 29mm Yellowstone bar and this 28.5mm bar. I know it sounds impossible but it is immediately noticeable. I don't mind however. I do also notice the medium whip that this bar is rated vs. the low whip of my Yellowstone. I personally like a very stiff bar as I am not looking for the 'cheat' that the pros do by taking advantage of the bar bending before lift-off and the spring it can afford with the right technique. While this bar does flex a bit more more than the Yellowstone it is comparable to other…

I got the Yukon Bar a few weeks ago, and I’ve gotta say I’m really impressed. The knurling hits that sweet spot, grippy but not tearing up your hands, and the sleeves spin super smooth. I’ve been using it for squats, deadlifts, and bench presses, and it feels solid the whole time. No wobble, no bending, just a really sturdy bar. Would definitely recommend if you want one bar that can do pretty much everything.
