Picked up this bench for decline situps. I have now added russian twists and leg pull-ins to my workout. Great quality and value for my home gym!!!

Enjoying the quality padding and rollers. Well made, great price. Nice to have a dedicated bench. Much more enjoyable than ab work on the floor.

I received this bench today and put it together. First, there was a damage issue. There are two metal U shaped portions on the bottom of the metal frame where you attach the floor supports and one was bent so that the floor support portion couldn't fit in the U shape portion. I spent quite a while bending it back to normal so I could attach the floor support.
Second, after putting it together I decided to try it out. The bench looks nice but it's not exactly as pictured in the description (for example, no red and white in the logo). Oddly, the structure of the bench caused me some lower back pain if i leaned back to the point of almost letting my back touch the bench. I use a similar type of bench at the gym with no issue and i even hold weights while doing so, sometimes using it as a decline bench press. After some time, I realized where the issue was coming from. The top knee support cushion of this bench isn't high enough (for me and likely others) and as a result, it causes me to over arch my lower back, especially so the more I lean back. I don't plan to return the bench but will see whether i can get some use from it or possibly just get rid of it at some point.
I do not recommend this bench. I'm very surprised by the other glowing reviews.

Regarding the design and your discomfort while using the bench: this model has been in our lineup for a long time, and we haven’t received similar feedback about lower-back strain. In most cases, differences in padding height or angle between models can require a slight adjustment in positioning or form, especially when switching from a gym bench you’re familiar with. Proper knee placement and hip alignment can make a significant difference in how supported the lower back feels during decline or abdominal movements. - SMShane M.Verified BuyerI recommend this productRated 5 out of 5 stars7 months agoGreat bench
Sturdy! Easy to put together. Great for a 250 lb guy. No issues at all.
