    I’m using it on a rack that it wasn’t really designed for but it fits perfectly fine. They protect the metal and paint on the rack and they’re also very sturdy.

    Great j-hooks!

    Ordered two pairs. They were a bit different aestheticly and different thickness. But both pairs are solid and perform well. The fit is perfect on my rack. Satisfied. Would recommend.

    Almost Perfect

    So, this is now my THIRD set of j hooks for my Amstaff 1/2 rack. The hooks that came were too round and too deep. The 2nd set were ok, but the back part too shallow and everytime I reracked the bar from squatting, it was hard to tell if I got it on right.

    No problem with these, due to the tall back. You know when you slam the bar against the rack you're in.

    However, the front stops are unnecessarily too high. (see the pics) Makes lifting the bar out/back in a bit difficult.

    The 2nd set was perfect for that, so I might keep them for bench pressing, of which a tall back is not all important as in squatting. All the hooks need to do is stop the bar from rolling out.... ..why o why do they make hooks that bury the bar in front?

    Still, on sale, a good buy. I like the plastic protectors for noise and bar protection, something the other 2 don't have.

    superb construction

    This is a solid chunk of metal, and looks like I will never out lift them. They have a tight fit on my rack, and come with a pretty thick UHMD pad on 2 sides to protect the bar. My only negative is that the lip is not protected with UHMD.
