Once installed, it's awesome and looks great. Very happy with the end result.
A little additional effort on correcting the errors on install steps and numbering the parts would make install a whole lot smoother.
Also beware if you purchase the $80 wall brackets, the holes don't line up with the L brackets.

Regarding the wall-mounting brackets: the holes on the brackets do align perfectly with the ladder’s L-shaped support arms. However, the key is to leave the L-brackets slightly loose during installation — this allows the holes to line up accurately with the wall bracket before final tightening.

It went together easy and looks great. Quality equipment for sure...BUT...the L-shaped mounting brackets used to mounting to the wall are not 16" O.C. holes, they are more like 16.75" O.C. so they don't quite hit the studs in the centre. Also, the wall brackets I paid an extra $80 for don't line up with the L mounting brackets holes. So the mounting brackets are useless. Also, what do the expansion screws do. All the videos show the L-shaped mounting brackets going straight into the wall but no expansion screws. Anyone have a clue about those??

To clarify: the expansion bolts included with the unit are intended for concrete or brick wall installations, which are more common in commercial or basement settings. If you're installing on drywall over wood studs, the expansion bolts are not required. In those cases, we recommend using our optional mounting bars, which are designed to help align with standard 16" stud spacing in residential walls.
If the L-shaped brackets aren't aligning properly with the mounting bars, it's often because the bolts were tightened too early, causing the brackets to lock at an incorrect angle. Please try loosening the bolts slightly, adjusting the bracket angle, and then aligning them before re-tightening everything into place.

This is well built and it feels really solid. I love it once it’s installed. However, the installation process is not great if you are not familiar with all these. First of all there's no template to put on the wall to make sure you are drilling in the right spots. This means you’ll need to put it up, mark the hole on the wall, put it back down, drill, put it back up. Additionally, I bought the wall brackets but there was no instruction on how to attach the ladder to the bracket and then to the wall. It was not super ergonomic to attach the bolts. Now looking back I feel like it would’ve skip the wall brackets and instead buy wood(2x4) and attach it to your studs and then put the ladder up and attach to it. The holes alignment would not be a problem in that case and it would be more forgiving.
