The AmStaff TU038 does exactly what it's supposed to. It feels sturdy once mounted, and I had no trouble putting it together. Installation into the joists was straightforward, with no fiddling or missing parts. For the price, it's a solid, no-frills option for pull-ups and chin-ups at home.

Easy to assemble the bars themselves. Takes some effort to actually set them up, but that is to be expected for the price and setup of the bar itself. Be sure to have a place in your space to drill some pilot holes for the large holding screws. Set mine up at the bottom of a staircase in our unfinished basement, works for me.

Just bought recently and finally finished mounting it today. I don't have any exposed beams, so I found 3 studs and created additional support. Had 245lb friend swing off it, and it didn't budge. Saw several reviews on here and Amazon saying it came with cheap screws and they broke, so I skipped that aggrivation and hit Home Hardware and immediately replaced them all. The metal equipment itself does seem to be well made and very sturdy. Will update review later if anything changes.

Two small challenges. I used a hammer to tap the long bar together to line up the threads in the bar for the bolts. Wrench is a bit small to get everything tight. I used a size 14 metric wrench and an adjustable wrench to get tight.

It was like a new brand. I bought it at 75% off and installed it in my garage right away. I like the hand grip and the material that was used. It is an excellent purchase
