It’s a good quality medicine ball but it has a bad chemical like heavy plastics smell with an odd slick coating that is slippery that I can’t seem to clean off. It’s been a few weeks and smell is there that stays on your hands afterwards that I have to wash a few times to get off. Will have to use work out gloves when I use this medicine ball.

Regarding the smell and surface coating: a protective layer is applied during manufacturing to preserve the material during storage and shipping. While the scent typically fades over time, we understand that it can be unpleasant for those sensitive to certain odors.
To help remove the coating and reduce the smell, we recommend wiping the surface with a soft cloth and a mild solution of warm water and dish soap, then letting it air out in a well-ventilated space (avoiding direct sunlight) for several days. This usually helps dissipate the odor and removes any excess residue.

My orders arrived in nicely packaged and I like the quality of the products but the 2llb.medicine ball could have been a lot smaller in size, I found it to be too big for 20lb. However, it is a very good quality ,I recommend these products
